TikTok and TIKE Practice and Monetization Training Course
(Macau Radio News) The Macau Small and Medium Enterprises Association will hold training courses next month (July), covering basic platform knowledge, operation and promotion strategies, monetization model exploration, and brand certification, to help enterprises explore new business growth points on new media platforms and achieve sustainable development and upgrading.
Chung Ching-yee, Executive Vice President of the Chamber of Commerce, stated that while Macao's SMEs have gradually adapted to new media transformation in recent years, they are still in the early stages of digital transformation. She hopes that the practical guidance provided in the course will help enterprises improve operational efficiency. She also noted that local SMEs generally possess unique product advantages and cultural characteristics, but currently most still rely on third-party influencers or platforms for promotion. She suggested establishing their own accounts to form long-term brand assets, which she believes will effectively reduce dependence on external promotion channels.
Chung Wai-cheung, managing director of a digital company and one of the course instructors, stated that the core of the course is the transformation of theory into practice, helping students apply what they have learned. He added that after-class consultations and individualized learning follow-ups will be used to address any misunderstandings among students and improve the operational capabilities of SMEs. He also mentioned that they have received numerous inquiries and plan to hold another class in the near future. (Hong Man-shi, Yeh Yung-chen)
